We just finished meeting with all of the missionaries in three zone conferences.  It is so great to meet together and learn from one another.

PRESIDENT'S WEEKLY - What's in Style?

 What's in Style?

Dear Elders and Sisters:

it's the latest!  It's awesome!  Everyone is doing it!

Sound like a description of the latest style or trend?  Well it is...for the California Fresno Mission.  What is it you ask?

The Lord's Vision:  We are finding more through the Less Actives and Part Members each and every day and as we do more are being "Rescued" into and back into (Less Actives) the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!  Thank you for following the Lord's Vision He has given to this and all missions.  That the Lord would have us follow these methods in the Work of Salvation was confirmed when Sister Clark and I were recently at Mission Presidents' Seminar.  I know the great CFM is following the Lord's will and we are seeing great success as a result.

Talk to Ten:  More and more of you are starting to hit the prophetic goal of Talking to Ten unplanned contacts each and every day and it is showing in the rate that we Find New Investigators in this mission.  Well done!  I was looking back at some notes from when Elder Ballard visited this mission in 2012 and this is what he said then: "I promise you in the name of the Lord if each of you will talk to at least 10 people every day that you through these 20 contacts will find more people to teach. This will lead you to double your convert baptisms.”  Sound familiar?  I know it is true and when all companionships do this a double in our baptisms will occur.  And I like the idea of hundreds each month and 2,684 this year.  Why not?  I know we can do this, Elders and Sisters!  We just have to Open Our Mouths!!!!

Exact Obedience:  All of you are endeavoring to be exactly obedient and many of you are taking it to a new level by reviewing the MHB, PMG and Resource Binder to ensure you are aware of all things you should be exactly obedient to in order to receive all of the blessings and miracles associated with Exact Obedience.  Well done!  Many of you have shared with me how much better you feel about the work, your areas, your companion, and yourselves as you make exact obedience the foundation, the bedrock of your service to the Lord.  Exact Obedience brings Miracles!!!

Focus:  While you can go through the motions of The Vision, Talking to Ten, and Exact Obedience, if your Focus is not riveted on the Savior Jesus Christ, His love, His Atonement, and His example you will do little to serve him and living your purpose will be difficult if not impossible.  I promise you that as you focus on Him, that as you serve because you love Him, and that as you follow His perfect example of loving, serving, and teaching you will be highly successful at living your Missionary Purpose and the Lord will trust you to bring many souls unto Him.  "How great shall be your joy!"

Well, it is the latest, it is awesome, and everyone is doing it in order to reach 100 baptism this month and 1,342 baptisms this year.  Thank you Elders and Sisters for being so current, so in style!!!

My dad and step mom came to visit us.  We had a marvelous time, love them so much!
