"April Fools"

Every quarter the President interviews every missionary in the mission.  We travel to a church central to a zone and invite one District at a time.  I train each District and rotate the missionaries in for their interview.  On April 1 we were privileged to be with a very enthusiastic District.  The Zone leaders  and their District decided to play an "April Fools" joke on the President.  They presented me their plan with great excitement - it was contagious.  They wanted to pretend that a missionary crashed into the President's car as he was rushing to get back to the meeting after going home to get something he forgot.  Watching them set up the scenario was so fun!  I love these missionaries . . . . . . So, after we finished our training and the last missionary was in his interview, the missionaries went out to set everything up - we all came back into the church and watched out the windows with great anticipation!  After the stage was set, two very capable young missionary "actors" began their part in this joke = "freaking out" panic set in and they started screaming, running around, etc . . . .
We were all so excited  - - - - only to find out that the President was watching us out of his window the whole time!!!  The missionaries are determined to get the President next year!  Challenge accepted!

If you can believe . . .Elder Craven put his leg in front of the President's car and told the other car to move forward to his leg.  I am nervous that we are really going to have an accident - Elder Craven said "don't worry Sister Clark my leg is there!"  Really?
President walks in on us planning and plotting - we might need a "training" on April Fools jokes (not)
