We welcomed 19 new missionaries to our mission on July 29, 2015. It was a beautiful site watching all of those missionaries come through the airport doors and a wonderful experience greeting each one of them into the great California Fresno Mission. There was excitement in the air!
The New Missionaries were greeted with a very warm welcome from the office staff and all of the missionaries who came in to work "Open Your Mouth". (The new missionary's very first experience in the field - An experienced missionary is paired with a new missionary, together they hit the pavement for several hours to invite others to "Come unto Christ")
Each Missionary completed their office work - emailing parents, interview with the President, instructions on housing, finance, cars and medical.
We ended the day at the Mission Home where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and conversation, then onto an excellent teaching from the President, concluding with an inspirational testimony meeting. The day couldn't have been better!
