We welcomed 19 new missionaries to the California Fresno Mission on September 9, 2015. 19 seems to be the magic number, we welcomed 19 new missionaries last transfer also - we are starting to build our number of missionaries back up since the Mission Split, it's exciting! Here is our newest "Royal Army"!
Arriving at the Mission Office is always a fun and exciting experience. Great seasoned missionaries are waiting to receive these great new missionaries.
The missionaries are divided into two groups, one group stays at the mission office to complete their office work, the other group goes out on the streets of Fresno to "Open Your Mouth". OYM is where a seasoned missionary is paired with a new missionary to invite others to come unto Christ and be baptized. After a couple of hours the groups switch.
We ended the day with dinner at the mission home, stories of their experiences on OYM and a testimony meeting. A great way to end the day.
