KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
Dear Elders and Sisters:
As you begin this transfer I hope you will be mindful of
the incredible opportunity the Lord has given us to show our faith in Him and
love for His Son, Jesus Christ, through our commitment to our Missionary
Purpose as demonstrated by our Exact Obedience and how well we work through the
Lord's Vision, Talk With Ten, and strive to become Master Planners, Finders,
and Teachers. Not only will it be a September to Remember but it will set up to
be an Amazing End to this year and a launch pad for an unparalleled level of
service and dedication.
That statement was embedded in each of your letters this
week. It is true! We stand on the threshold of something great
about to happen - like the parting of the Red Sea. But it will require great faith coupled with
much hard work. It will be a defining
moment for this mission and perhaps for your mission and ministry. But I know we are capable of doing this. The question to be answered is, DO YOU KNOW
THIS?
Do you know in your heart that we can baptize more people
each month, especially as we head towards the end of this year?
Do you not only see your areas being set up as escalators
to fulfill your Missionary Purpose but do you see the Mission as well in an
escalator effect taking us to 1,000 baptisms?
Do you have the faith that there are people in your path,
people in your Teaching Pools, and people in your units who can be baptized
this month taking us from a 60 baptism month to a 100 baptism month?
Do you see September as a month to Remember that sets up
for October, November, and December baptizing well over 100 each month and
setting up 2016 as monumental year....again?
Do you see your Branches, Wards, and Stakes as having the
confidence to set similar baptismal goals as they did this last year believing
their Missionaries can and will help them achieve their goals?
Well (as opposed to Uuummmm), I see this vision. I know it is true and that you are fully
capable of accomplishing such a September to Remember - a defining moment and
month for this mission and for your personal ministry as a representative of
Jesus Christ.
We love you and are praying in earnest for you to KNOW
